Rest assured we will continue to provide care for your pets during the COVID-19 pandemic and can help with telephone consultations and urgent and emergency appointments.
During the Easter bank holiday period, contact the practice and listen to the answer machine and you will be directed to our emergency out of hours process.
As pet owners, we understand that you may be worried about your pets at this time.
In order to protect you and our colleagues, whilst the doors to your practice are temporarily closed to routine visits (in line with guidance from the Government and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) our team are still there to help. We are available if you need to attend an urgent or emergency appointment, have a telephone consultation with a vet or order repeat medicines.
If you are concerned about the health or welfare of your pet, please contact us.
We are here to help if you need us
If we invite you to attend the practice for an emergency appointment, we’ll explain what you need to do, where your pet can be seen and we’ll make arrangements with you to safely collect your pet outside the premises, maintaining social distancing. We’ll contact you by phone to discuss the consultation and take payment.
In order to safely provide 24-hour emergency care for your pets at this time, the way you access emergency healthcare for your pet may not always be at your usual branch.
Flea and worm treatment and repeat medication
If you are due your next supply of flea and wormer treatment or repeat medication you can also request this via the website repeat prescription form.
Prior to dispensing your treatment, a member of our team will call you to take payment where applicable and arrange safe collection or postage options.
Booster Vaccinations are temporarily postponed
Boosters due at this time are being temporarily postponed by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. You’ll be able to come in as soon as our statutory/government regulator allows us to see your pet in practice. If you receive our automated reminders, we’ll be in touch to book an appointment to do your pets annual health check and booster as soon as we can.
Puppy and kitten vaccinations and flea and worming
If your puppy or kitten is due a vaccination or flea and worming, please call us so that we can discuss the options with you.
Your veterinary team is still providing telephone consultations and emergency appointments.
Rest assured… we are here to help.
